The Nano Icy Moons Propellant Harvester (NIMPH) is a CubeSat-scale In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU) system which processes ice into liquid oxygen (LOx) and liquid hydrogen (LH2). A CubeSat-scale ISRU reduces costs by significantly reducing the mass of a mission, enabling lower cost sample return missions. Core technologies being developed involve miniaturization and design of miniature compressors and expanders for oxygen and hydrogen handling and water collection and distillation processes in micro-gravity.
